Dr Manjunatha Kalavala is a Consultant Dermatologist practising at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. He practises as both a Dermatologist and Paediatric Dermatologist. Dr Kalavala underwent his training in Dermatology in India, the UK and the USA, including training in Paediatric Dermatology at the prestigious University of California in San Diego.

He was awarded the prize of Best Registrar of the year during his time at the All Wales Dermatology Training Program. At present, he is the lead for Biologics service for dermatology. He also has an interest in the treatment of complex inflammatory skin diseases, and in the use of cutaneous surgery and lasers for vascular lesions. Dr Kalava values his patients’ quality of life and likes to involve his patients in decision making around their treatment.

Dr Kalavala lives in Cardiff with his wife and daughter, who whom he enjoys weekends in the countryside.
