HRT can be highly effective for many women, but its not a one-size-fits-all solution. Finding the right balance of oestrogen and progestrone may require some trial and error and abnormal bleeding can occur during this process.

How can a pelvic ultrasound scan help monitor abnormal bleeding during menopause?
